Dear Colleagues,
The new Power BI app for Legacy Financial Reporting is now available in production! We really appreciate the help and support from the key stakeholders for each of these new reports during design, development, and testing activities.
Our goal for this transition from the Hyperion Web reporting tool to Power BI continues to be that the redeveloped reports work the same if not better in Power BI than they did in Hyperion Web. We will not shut down individual Hyperion Web reports until their equivalent Power BI versions have gone through a transition period (currently planned to run through December 16, 2022).
The migration of Hyperion Web reports to Power BI is a gradual process, and this release (Release 1, as described in our memo from November 7) is the first stage of this transition.
We are looking forward to working with Hyperion Web users on Release 2 - stay tuned for more information! We will be using ServiceNow to log future issues and enhancement requests now that these reports are in production.
